Carlos Farinha dos Santos had an everlasting passion for the Cocker Spaniels having started his carrer as a breeder in 1984. In 1989 he created the STOCDALE Affix, duly registered with C.P.C. and F.I.C. having won over 50 Champion Titles in Portugal and abroad.
Stocdale kennels, under Carlos Farinha dos Santos, first started selcting particolours and then solids too. Betting in quality and true type Carlos started by importing some Cockers from Spain (for instance a dog called Pandakan Minotaur and the bitches Fuven's Flamenca, Corralet Tarantula, Ch Sp Ch Port Corralet Owl You Are, Expressa de Termes and Pandakan Oba Oba) introducing in Portugal dogs of quality with English blood lines behind. His patient work of breeding and selecting fro quality and type did the rest.
One of his first successes in the rings was the blue roan dog , Ch. Port. Ch. Esp. Stocdale Absolutely Able (Blenkarn Orient Express x Ch Esp Ch Port Corralet Owl You Are), later sold to Spain.
Ch Port St. Absolutely Able out of Pandakan Oba Oba, produced the famous and excellent blue roan Sire Ch Port Stocdale Make Dreams - RCACIB at the World Dog Show, in Bern 1994 and 1st Excellent in Champion Class at the W.D.Show in Brussels, in 1996.
